Hi, I’m Ike.
I've been making films for as long as I can remember.
It started with my Dad's old VHS camcorder. I used to take it out to mess about with it with friends, pointing it at everything, figuring out how to tell a story through a lens and how to construct a narrative in the edit. That childhood obsession became a lifelong journey that has taken me around the world on a 20+ year filmmaking journey, with 15 of those as a professional.
My background spans documentary, commercial and event filmmaking where I work with people from all walks of life, across Scotland, the UK and beyond. I've filmed in boardrooms and on mountainsides, at sporting events and major music festivals. All of this has sharpened my eye to perfectly capture every moment of your wedding.
Your wedding day is one of the most significant stories of your life. A day full of emotion, unexpected moments and humanity. It deserves to be captured with care, craft and attention and that’s what I’m passionate about.
Every wedding film gets my full focus, from our first conversation right through to the moment you watch your finished film. I love meeting new people and hearing your story - to tell it is a privilege.
Based in Edinburgh, I film weddings primarily across the Lothians, the Scottish Borders and the wider Scottish Highlands though I'm always happy to travel further afield for the right couple.
